OMACNAC-SR Tablet
Active Ingredients:
- Aceclofenac (200 mg SR - Sustained Release): A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation.
- Rabeprazole (20 mg): A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production, preventing gastric irritation caused by NSAIDs.
Description & Mechanism of Action:
Aceclofenac (200 mg SR):
- Works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation.
- Commonly used for arthritis, muscle pain, and joint disorders.
- The sustained-release (SR) formulation ensures prolonged pain relief.
Rabeprazole (20 mg):
- Blocks the proton pump in the stomach lining, reducing acid secretion.
- Helps prevent gastric ulcers and acidity caused by NSAIDs like Aceclofenac.
Uses:
- Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
- Muscle pain, sprains, and joint inflammation
- Post-surgical pain and swelling
- Chronic pain conditions requiring long-term NSAID use
Dosage & Administration:
- Adults: Usually one tablet daily, preferably after food.
- Do not crush or chew (sustained-release formulation).
- Follow the doctor's prescription for the best results.

- Dizziness, headache
- Heartburn, acidity (less common due to Rabeprazole)
